The bear in the park.
Another for the "Little Bear" story. This is supposed to be a scene from Central Park, but with no reference, it's hard to tell.
An oh-copy and Edgar.
More sketchbook. I'm trying to fill it up before the end of the year. Top is an Okapi sketched at Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo, and bottom is Edgar and his young mother talking about Edgar's performance in school, which is not that great. He has a lot on his mind.

Some streetsmart cats.
From the sketchbook again! For the friend writing the "Little Bear" story. I went in and added some colors in Photoshop.

Edgar + Wink sketches
More from the sketchbook. My thesis is about these two characters, so I was doodling to get ideas for the different pieces I'm doing. My favorite is the marker Wink (the monster) in the middle. :)

It's Megonaut!
Currently in progress, it's my first assignment for Advanced Illustration, "Your alter-ego."
I am an astronaut, of course! Impossibly perched upon Saturn's rings.

Smile, little bear.
His name is Bernard, the main character in a story being written by a friend of mine. It's a fantastic story with a heartwarming end. Bernard is brave and never without a sense of optimism even in the toughest of times.
This was just a Photoshop doodle to try out some colors. Not finished, and with some anatomical errors, but you get the general idea.

Wooah, listen to the music~
A fun experiment of painting in Photoshop.
I found a tutorial I really enjoyed about this kind of process, and I decided to try it myself. Still need to practice the act of painting in general, but overall I like this look.
I still tend to keep my art simplified in a cartoon-y way, but I'm okay with that. I'm not a hyper-realist or anything.

Your hair smells like food.
A couple of friendly neighbors.
I would trade these guys for my new neighbors and their ridiculous barking dog any day. Aren't they cute?
Helloooo this is my new job. I'm drawing a coloring book based on the children's book I illustrated a few lightyears ago. Which, as I know, is going to be printed very very soon. Expect a major super galactic update when that happens.
Makin' money feels gooooooood, people. Especially while doing fun stuff like this!!

I got a new Wacom Intuos 4 wireless tablet for my birthday, and this was done quickly out of excitement.

Graveyard concept.
A rough graveyard concept done for a story that's being worked on by a friend of mine.
He asked me to do some concept work of environments, and though it's not my forte, I thought it'd be some good exercise for me (and I love doing work for friends!).
The colors are flat and were thrown on to help clarify the lines, I'm not really happy with them.
